Get ready for a Sewing Space tour!

It's been a while since I've been here.  Or anywhere near my sewing room, or a guild meeting.  Crazy schedules, different priorities...  Now, I am ready to get back to it!

Well, it is not entirely true that I have not been in my sewing room.  I did manage to finish my May and June bee blocks for the Canadians Quilt {Bee}.  Here is the lovely June block, Weathervane, requested by Lisa in Port Hope.

I'll share the unusual May blocks a little later... Gotta save some materials for another post, right?

But what is really helping me getting back in the sewing swing of things is a commitment I had made a while ago, to be featured in "Sew Canadian", a virtual tour of Canadian bloggers sewing spaces.  I was so excited to be asked, but when the deadline came to send my pictures, the neatest part of my room looked like this:

Let's just say it needed a lot of work.

I will no reveal the result just yet, but I am pleased to say my sewing space will be featured on Sew Canadian next Sunday, July 13.  In the meantime, go check out Mad About Patchwork's blog to discover Patti's and Krista's lovely sewing spaces.

See you soon!

  2. So glad to see you posting again! Missed you! Hope things settle down a little bit and you get some time over the summer to sew (and perhaps come to a Sew In or MMQG meeting!) ☺
